Materials : Ceramic granite
Each of us, if he is simply a consumer or a professional, prefers quality, durability, usefulness and beautiful appearance of the chosen material. Such material of the 21st century is the ceramic granite first-class material with high operational characteristics - practically "eternal", not any worse, and in many respects even better than natural granite and ceramic tiles.
Not denying the advantages of other materials, we compare some parameters: Hardness on the 10-point Moos scale: diamond - 10, natural granite - 6, ceramic granite - 7-8 points, that is higher than natural granite, approximately same as at quartz and topaz. Thus this material is hardly subject to various external influences and for a long time keeps its initial appearance.
Everybody knows that the less is the internal water-content of the material - the better are the parameters of uniformity, hardness, and resistance to extreme temperatures. The natural granite internal water-content is 2-4%, and ceramic granite - 0,05%. By results of the tests, ceramic granite is steadier against the influence of ultra-violet rays, chemical, aggressive environments and, unlike the natural facing stone, has no radiation phon. The production of ceramic granite became possible due to the hi-tech, modern, powerful equipment. To manufacture ceramic granite they use carefully chosen initial materials: quartz sand, clay, feldspar and metal oxides, but unlike the usual tiles the firing of the material occurs at a higher temperature-1200 - 1350°С. Besides that, the pressure of the powerful press on the heated material is so great - 30-40 atmospheres (450 kg per 1 square cm) that inside the ceramic granite there remains no porosity (unlike the usual tiles). Ceramic granite is dyed at the stage of manufacturing: to give it the necessary color mineral pigments are added to the raw material. Due to this ceramic granite is homogeneous all through and gets properties of increased wear resistance and frost resistance, is easily grinded and polished. A huge variety of standard sizes, color scale, the texture (polished, not polished, and structural) of ceramic granite enables to carry out any architectural and design project.
The cost of a square meter of ceramic granite is much lower, than of natural facing materials.
