From all the variety aluminum composite panels Alucobond is one of the most known materials. Alucobond is made by the factory Alcan Singen GmbH since 1969.

Alucobond and similar composite panels widely applied in many branches and especially in building technologies. The reason for that are the unique properties of this material caused by its structure and components.

Application of Alucobond panels is most effective for external furnish and in cases when it is necessary to provide high durability and resistance to the atmosphere of the material (from-50°С up to +80°С). The material has unique durability and reliability: panels are rigid, steady against impacts, breaks, and pressure. Alucobond is steady against the influence of environment.

Alucobond is also applied in case of high requirements to fire safety. Thus, for example, Alucobond А2 is non-flammable and it is allowed use it on buildings of all degrees of fire resistance, all types of constructive and functional fire danger (according to the Construction Norms and Rules 21-01-97 and 2.01.02-85).

The warranty period of using Alucobond aluminum composite panels for hinged ventilated facades is 25 years that will allow using your object for many years without face lifting, to not spend serious money and time for updating of its appearance. Besides, due to high temperature constancy Alucobond can be applied in conditions of Far North, and in southern areas.

With the help of simple tools the material can be shaped to a necessary form. The big size of panels ensures fast installation, low expenses and an opportunity to always maintain contract terms. It"s possible to combine the panels of different thickness - from 2 mm up to 8 mm, lengths up to 8000 mm and width - up to 1500 mm.

Alucobond is very light, depending on the thickness the square meter of material weighs from 3 up to 8 kg. Alucobond has rigidity, stability to impacts, mechanical damages, pressure and at the same time it is highly elastic and it is easily bent. Elasticity is provided by an aluminum sheet made of special alloy (Peraluman 100, EN AW 5005 (AlMg1)).

The ratio of rigidity and weight favorably distinguishes it from competitors. At an equal degree of rigidity Alucobond weighs 1,6 times less than the aluminum sheet, is 3,4 times lighter than the steel sheet, and is 2,1 times lighter than fibrocement. The surprising lightness of the material will allow to lower considerably the weight load on the bearing walls and also on the underneath construction of the hinged facade. Therefore aluminum composite materials are more and more often applied for the hinged facades in Russia, especially at reconstruction, as often the bearing walls of reconstructed buildings are not able to maintain significant loading, while the necessary properties of thermoinsulation can be only obtained by the installation of a hinged facade;

Alucobond it is offered in 24 standard and 44 complimentary (the ready formula) colors. Due to the special techniques we can produce brilliant surfaces imitating natural stone - STONELOOK. Quality of coatings is provided by the ЕССА standards (European Coil Coating Association). Fluorocarbon systems of coating (i.e. PVDF) combine good shaping and extreme durability. Coatings present high stability to weather conditions, strong solar radiation and industrial pollution. During all the process of manufacture quality assurance is carried out according to the ЕССА instructions. Ventilated facades made of Alucobond considerably increase sound insulation. Thus, the sound insulation of a wall made of light concrete will be doubled.
